Uras seçim sonuçlarının siyasi yansımalarını değerlendirdiği konuşmasında seçmenin iktidara ve muhalefete nasıl bir mesaj verdiğini ayrıntılarıyla ele aldı.

The statement released by Ocalan, on February 27th, is a crucial step towards peace, reconciliation, the resolution of the Kurdish issue, as well as the broader democratisation process.

These developments will lead to an end to violence and pave the way to a Just and lasting end to this protracted conflict.

This is a first and important step, initiated by MHP leader Bahçeli and supported by President Erdogan. Further implementation is expected with significant regional ramification.

The process will require compromises that are difficult and painful for all, especially for those who have lost loved ones over a long period of violence. This initiative deserves the support of each and every one of us to ensure that all forms of violence are put to an end.

On April 30, the Democratic Progress Institute (DPI) and the Diyarbakır Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DTSO) co-organised an event titled “The Role of Business in Conflict Resolution” in Diyarbakır.  DTSO

Participants shared examples of the economic costs of conflict, such as hesitant investors, underdeveloped infrastructure, and missed growth opportunities. Together, they discussed how the business community and civil society can foster conflict resolution.

The event underscored the power of economic arguments in advancing peace and reaffirmed the critical role of businesses as active stakeholders in Türkiye’s broader peacebuilding efforts.
