Interesting development on the 4th District. Looks like Ed Gallrein is looking at running against Massie. Gallrein lost to Aaron Reed in 2024 in a three way primary for 7th Senate District. Reed won by under 200 votes.

Kentucky State Auditor's office finds that the Kentucky Department of Education doesn't require reference checks when hiring employees. That seems like a pretty significant oversight when it comes to vetting who you are allowing to work with children and spend state resources.
