As usual, Futures Day has been a roaring success. The children loved seeing all the different professions and asking well thought out questions about their futures.

A great day representing St. Luke's Hospice (Basildon & District) and ensuring young people get the opportunity to learn about exciting careers in nursing!

Reception had a visit from St Luke's Hospice today teaching us the importance of hand washing. We enjoyed using the special light to check how clean our hands were after washing them. #EYFS #GoGreensted #stLukesHospiceB

I understand why the RCN is rejecting their pay deal and why Nurses are on strike but please remember all the nurses who don’t work in the NHS and won’t be getting a pay rise or if they do it will be because the organisations they work for are having to find it to try and match!!
