I am deeply sorry to hear about the passing of Mukami Kimathi, the widow of the renowned freedom fighter Dedan Kimathi. Mukami was a symbol of unity and cohesion in Kenya and an icon of the freedom and liberties we enjoy as a country. May her soul rest in peace.
