I know it can be jarring to hear someone who is pro worker say we actually dont need higher wages, but just look at the reality around you. Higher wages without caps to cost is a loop to hell. Inflation jumps, wage jumps, cool until you go 3mos unemployed and cant afford shit.

California is a perfect example of why min wage rise doesnt solve the problem. We have a rising min wage here but no rent control or price controls for necessary goods. Thus the cost of living crisis continues. Yet in the comparable NY area we have to do the same song and dance?
