#wheatharvest25 moved into southern Kansas about a week ago, but since then it has been slow going. With scattered showers and high humidity, most days the combines can’t get rolling until late-afternoon. Kansas is only 3% complete, behind 25% last year. kswheat.com/harvest01

Harvest is about halfway done in Kansas, slightly behind last year but near the five-year average. Wet fields from heavy rains are slowing progress, but farmers are pushing forward as June wraps up. #wheatharvest25 kswheat.com/harvest06

Enjoyed meeting with the Kansas Grain and Feed Association 2025 Agribusiness leaders last week. We discussed the importance of exporting KS commodities & programs like McGovern-Dole Food & Food for Peace, which help farmers sell excess crops to feed the hungry around the globe.
