🧑‍💻Tech writing tip: Always start with pain. 😰 Yes, tech writing is not emotional, but if you don’t start with emotion, you won’t hook the reader. Assure them you understand their pain. Use emotional words to describe it. ONLY THEN move on to your solution. #tech #writing

✂️ Tech writing tip: Cut to the chase. Chop off your lengthy introduction and start your article with your strongest sentence. 🏃‍♀️ What you start writing, you tend to talk a lot before you get to the point. So get to the point immediately. Every word counts. #tech #writing

My biggest pet peeve when editing is repetitions. I hate those pesky things. They tend to creep in and sit there, hidden. It takes me several times (and several breaks in between) to edit it and see it in my own writing. And it’s oh, so hard, to cut them out!

ChatGPT is my new best friend.

Nope. I don’t have to spend my time on boring and mundane tasks anymore. I can focus on writing the best content I can and let ChatGPT do the grunt work of research/summarization/copy editing/grammar.

You know what feeling when you try super hard but nothing is happening? Paradoxically, when you relax and stop trying, things do begin to happen. But for many of us this relaxation never happens. Looking inside and finding your value is hard work. I escaped it for years. 😳

It's amazing how better sleep helps you write better. Whenever I think coffee will do it, I'm always wrong. It only makes me jittery. ☕ But if I sleep at least 8-9 hours a night, I get up and write with the speed of lightning! ⚡️
