It's summer in Kansas - we should be relaxing with our families. Instead, we're working long hours just to pay the bills. Republicans promised lower costs, but they are actually driving costs up. Our leaders need to focus on making life more affordable - not political games.

Kansans already face huge challenges accessing healthcare because many lack insurance and costs are skyrocketing. And now Republicans gutted Medicaid. That will make things even worse. Our families deserve better. We need leaders who put Kansans first. kansasreflector.com/2025/06/18/kan…

On August 2, 2022, Kansans stood up for reproductive rights in a historic vote. Since then, Republicans have continued to attack our right to make our own personal medical decisions. We will keep fighting to protect what Kansans already support - reproductive freedom.

Life is already unaffordable for many families. And now utility bills are skyrocketing because of Republicans’ big bad bill 😒 We shouldn’t be paying the price for their bad policies. Kansans deserve leaders who lower costs, not drive them up!

Sixty years ago today, the Voting Rights Act became law. Today, some #ksleg lawmakers still work hard to suppress Kansans' access to the ballot box. We're fighting to ensure every Kansan's voice is heard — and we're not backing down. #VotingRightsAct apnews.com/article/voting…

Kansans want leaders who are true to their word and who fight for us every day. With his track record, politician Ty Masterson is the wrong guy for the job 👎 #ksleg

It's been a rough summer for Kansans 😕 Republicans are making it worse. From higher costs to cuts in children's programs, families are paying the price for political games. We deserve better. #ksleg

In Kansas, 29 rural hospitals were already at risk of closure. So what did Republicans do in response to this crisis? They cut $1 trillion in Medicaid, which helps keep hospitals afloat. They put Kansans' lives at risk. kansascity.com/news/politics-…

It’s back-to-school season 📚 Investing in our children's future is the most important thing we can do. Yet Republicans in #ksleg want to take funding away from public schools, where 90% of our kids go, and send it to private schools. Our kids deserve better.

1 in 5 Kansas kids don’t have enough to eat. KS Republicans slashed food assistance programs that keep families fed. Now, even more Kansans will go hungry. Our kids shouldn’t pay the price for political games. This has to stop. #ProtectSNAP

Kris Kobach is literally fighting against KANSAS farmers, school children, seniors and struggling families. Gov. Kelly is trying to help because Kobach WILL NOT DO HIS JOB. Unbelievable.

Kris Kobach is wasting time, wasting money, & focusing on the wrong priorities. With the school year starting, our public schools don’t need to be distracted by Kobach’s divisive politics. We won’t stand for political games at the expense of our children. cjonline.com/story/news/pol…

Kansas has the potential to be a clean energy leader. But Trump and his allies keep sabotaging renewable energy. That means higher bills and fewer energy options for us. We deserve a leader who prioritizes a cleaner future for our children. kcur.org/news/2025-07-2…

Sen. Roger Marshall claims to stand up for Kansas, but his record says something entirely different. He voted to gut Medicaid, hurting families and the rural hospitals our communities rely on. Kansas deserves leaders who put families first, not politics. #MiamiMarshall

Kansans know how damaging the Brownback experiment was to our state - cuts to schools, massive debt, and a lagging economy. Trump’s budget bill is doing the same on a national level. Catch up on this story and others from this week! #ksnews

Public schools are the heart of Kansas communities, teaching 90% of our kids. It’s essential to invest in our public schools so Kansas kids can grow up to be strong and independent. It’s time for politicians to protect our public schools.

Kansans shouldn’t have to choose between groceries and healthcare. Yet Republicans have forced them into that exact position with recent healthcare cuts. Our leaders need to put families first and make healthcare affordable.

Sen. Marshall has spent his summer cutting food assistance for families, gutting healthcare for kids, and ignoring our calls. While families are struggling, he’s avoiding Kansans and relaxing at his home in Florida 🙄 Kansans deserve better. #MiamiMarshall
