Reaching a milestone while competing against a very solid team, makes it all that sweeter. Carsyn Cassady reaches the 1000K mark for her career in game 1 today. Car has had tons of huge strikeouts in her HS career & has definitely made a huge impact for our team for 4 years.

We are headed back to Akron for the 4th time in a row!! This is such a special group of girls who have worked so hard to get this far! We are locked in and playing as a team! Everyone has done their job along this ride! Here we come Akron!!

Good start to the season w/ a scrimmage vs Hilliard Davidson. All 3 pitchers threw the ball well. We had tons of XBH & hit the ball in the gaps all night. Multiple kids got their 1st taste of varsity including Marlee hitting a 3R bomb on the 1st pitch she saw. Watkins Softball

A nice evening for a game. Quite a bit of offense by both teams. The slightly warmer temps let the bats heat up for Watkins Softball including 💣 by Alli Langwasser-2026 uncommitted Bryna D & Gracie G. Kendal Tellings went 4/4 & Jacy S picked up her first varsity W in the ⭕️. Go Warriors!

No HR pics tonight but awesome team win tonight by Watkins Softball against a very good Orange team. Clutch hits by multiple kids, fantastic team D w/ some fantastic plays by our by our middle IF & Jacy pitched lights out.

The bats got hot tonight for Watkins Softball 5 HRs for the Warriors. Alli & Gracie each had a solo💣. Paisley hit her first HR in the black /gold. Carlie had a day w/ a 3R shot in the 1st & a grand slam in the 6th. Jacy picked up another LCL W.

A warm evening for a 🥎game & some of Watkins Softball bats really heated up. Kyliee Trouten Carlie Taggart Paisley Conley 2026 & Gracie G all with 2 hits to lead the way including a 💣 by Gracie. Kendal Tellings, Morgan G and Lily P in the circle kept the Vikings off the board.

I’ve watched some of these girls play softball for more than a decade. They have been a part of a ton of big moments in Watkins softball history. Cool to see them all on field at same time for Watkins Softball including Maleya Thompson for an inning. Gracie G w/ a 💣

We finally were able to get the game w/ Zanesville in around the ⚡️🌩️. We put up runs in all 4 innings, had hits from 7 kids and Jacy and Shelby both hit their first career varsity HR. Lily came in and struck out the side in the fifth to seal the run rule.

Wrapped up LCL play for @SoftbaWatkins with a 10-3 W over the Blue Aces. Tons of good ABs tonight up & down the lineup tonight. Pitching worked out of a couple jams. Kyliee Trouten Marlee G & Gracie G all with 💣. 2 more regular season games & then the tournament starts next week
