On 29 January, WHO & partners reached the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, #Gaza to deliver essential medical supplies.

The hospital is in serious shortage of:
- specialised medical practitioners
- medicines, food, fuel

It seems that shortly, World Health Organization (WHO) health supplies will finally be moving towards Gaza through the Rafah crossing.

The supplies include trauma and chronic disease medicines, and basic essential medicines.

WHO calls for:
- protection of humanitarian teams in Gaza
- sustained

Every week WHO works with healthcare facilities across Ukraine to strategically pre-position medical supplies customized for the needs of specific oblasts and populations. Over the weekend our team visited Zaporizhzhia

In #Ukraine , WHO supplies oxygen to some hospitals using generator that takes oxygen from the environmental air.

Oxygen supplies and oxygen medical treatment are essential and life-saving.

Maryna and her mother were both severely injured when a rocket hit their home in #Ukraine . Maryna lost her leg. 

Compassionate health workers help the six-year-old to cope with the physical and mental wounds.
