Proud to be co-organizing & hosting this event. We did MD@50 in 2014 at JNCASR. MD@60 is much wider in scope. Sounds exciting! Looking fwd to engaging interactions! Bonus: We brew a great cup of coffee ☕️ on campus!!!

We could be on the verge of discovering signs of life on a different planet orbiting a star 100 light years away! What an absolute revolution we're about to witness.

“Ten years ago I was kicked out and forced to retire.” Our new medicine laureate Katalin Karikó (Katalin Kariko) told us how much it means to be awarded the Nobel Prize after a scientific career that has been full of challenges. Ten years ago, Karikó was still doing all her

In molecular dynamics we are familiar with femtosecond and that’s the natural timescale for atoms. It’s astonishing that one can study electron dynamics by using these laser pulses with a time period in attoseconds and, that too, experimentally!

To reviewers: Think twice when giving highly negative and even aggressive reviews. You are hurting students and postdocs behind the work, and not the PIs.

Work of Nikhil V S Avula along with Prof. Michael Klein in JPhysChemLett. Expt: NaCl dissolved in water slows it down, while CsI speeds it up. Reproduced & interpreted here via MD simulations with Machine Learned Potentials trained on Condensed phase DFT data pubs.acs.org/doi/pdf/10.102…

I will be presenting my work at AIChE in Orlando next week. Hoping to connect with polymer people and share my research with them! PS - I will also be looking for postdoctoral opportunities and will be presenting an overview of my PhD work on this Sunday. A new model of a polymer folded into loops shows how such loops leave a distinct signature in experimental data and change chromosome topology, aiding understanding of how chromosomes fold themselves into the small volume of a cell nucleus. Read go.aps.org/40zZdtw #PRXsoft

Wow ! I am not sure how well known this phenomenon is, but this implication is surely new to me. What an amazing implication of very low Reynolds number flows on the life of fish larvae!

There are scientist birds and scientist frogs. The birds delight in unifying concepts, while the frogs delight in the details of particular objects. Science is rich and beautiful because birds give it broad visions and frogs give it intricate details. (Paraphrasing Freeman Dyson)

Delighted to share that I have successfully defended my PhD dissertation on "Investigation of block copolymers for nanolithography". Pleased to say that the last five years have been largely satisfying. As a next step, I will be joining RPI as a postdoc. Tulane Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering Tulane University
