A1: We have a VERY SQUISHY $5M capacity for PGP #ApraChats

Q3: We tried to answer this question this year but couldn't due to lack of historical tracking data - no way to tell which came first/who identified who. As me again in 5 years. :) #ApraChats

Q4: This is a primary duty of the PG team: listening to donors, identifying and facilitating opportunities across campus #ApraChats

Leadership also consistently asks departments/Deans to answer the question of what a transformational gift/idea would look like to them. #ApraChats

A5: We do have a PG team. UW has open cultivation fundraising model so each unit can develop their own relationship/proposals with a donor. The PG team acts as a central relationship manager to keep donor interests top priority and facilitate cross-campus ideas #ApraChats

A6: PG team has not had metrics but we are looking at creating some now so interested in everyone's answers. Suspect we will look at filed strategies, time spent with units, proposals submitted and donor visits #ApraChats

A7: balancing the desire to never give up on the Forbes 400 list with maximizing time and energy on deepening relationships with prospects we have connections with #ApraChats

Bring all stakeholders to the table, document the strategies and next steps, be flexible to change strategy #ApraChats

Q3: it's all about the prospect/donor and their interests. Staff come and go, but a passion is forever (hopefully). Also, thankfully, we are open cultivation shop so prospects can be assigned to as many MGO's/interests as their heart desires. #aprachats
