A duck laid eggs in our mulch and now is nowhere to be found. What do I do? I feel very protective of these eggs.

Duck update: Mama came back. Sat on her nest for a while this morning and then covered it with mulch. We've got it all on Andy's trail cam. Get ready for 27 more days of this.

Duck update. Paula comes by every morning to sit on her nest for a few hours and then she takes off to enjoy her afternoons. Seems like an ideal schedule to me.

Sad duck update. A coyote came by at 9:45 last night and swiped all 7 eggs. Paula came by at 4:30 this morning 😭
