Two people are in the hospital recovering after being shot inside the Red Roof Inn on Cassopolis Street overnight. Please say a man and a woman – – both in their early 20s were found in the Inn. Their wounds are not life-threatening.

BREAKING: Police arrested 67yr old Fred Bandy Jr of Goshen and 67yr old John Lehman of Auburn in the 1975 death of 17yr old Laurel Mitchell. Mitchell disappeared after work at Epworth Forest on Aug. 6 1975. Her body was found the next morning in the Elkhart River.
