Big day coming up. India should have gotten at least 50 more runs. But with Bumrah in your team, you always have that extra leverage. Exciting day!

Siraj is looking more threatening than Bumrah in this morning but no-one will care about his workload management will make him bowl 10 over spell and then complain about his ability… ICT is not fair to him

And why did we drop shami? Is there a point I’m missing? Is it because he didn’t perform well in the IPL for Hyderabad on these roads?

England are serious contenders to win this trophy. Don’t say Indian team is in transition. We had Bumrah, Siraj and Jadeja. They had Woakes, Tongue, Carse and Bashir. No excuses whatsoever. This was a shameful defeat.

Now is the time to look beyond Gambhir as our test coach. He tried to do a few things to the team. And it’s safe to say he has been horrendous as a test coach. We won one game under him. That’s bad.

Mohammed Siraj is not the most talented Indian bowler ever. But surely one of the most hardworking and passionate bowlers India has ever produced. You got to admire him no matter what!!

This partnership today at Edgbaston has certainly made it difficult for India to produce a result in their favor. With rain on day 5 and a slight interruption tomorrow, it’ll be interesting to see if this game will have a result.

Big day for India with rain around. Can’t lose the game after dominating so much. I hope it doesn’t come down to the timing of declaration.

Shubman Gill is a star. He continues to shine. This is just a beginning. He has to win more games for India. Doubters will keep doubting him. He’s beyond all of that. Future of Indian cricket.

Hunger for runs is undeniably the best quality any batsman can have. Game awareness and other things will come with experience. Shubman Gill is on the perfect track to take the baton from Virat Kohli.

Masterclass in bowling in flat tracks by Akashdeep. This guy has done well in domestic cricket and is really good with his lengths. Relentless. Well deserved 5fer.

Edgbaston was a fortress. Not anymore. Statement win from a strong team led by Gill. Apart from a few strategies and team selection, this team is very competent. Look forward to the rest of the series.

Today’s field placements were superb from Gill. Attacking and in the face. Unlike the whole last week where it felt like we were trying to stop them from scoring boundaries. We win matches with this mindset. Hope to see more of this.
