Are the UPSC Paper setters competent enough? WPA (1972) was amended in 2022. As per this amendment, the schedule of WPA containing vermin category wildlife was removed. Apparently, they forgot about this amendment before creating this question. Ultimately had to drop it

Static portion proved to be king once again in UPSC Prelims 2025. Stay away from fear creating YouTubers and coachings. Difficult and random questions will be there - no need to worry about them Real competition is about how well you handle the core and static questions

Content creators/ coachings / meme channels claiming that one question coming from their content/notes is another level of cringe

CSAT paper proved that you need to have a command over basics. If your fundamentals are not clear and try to bank on tips & tricks - it's gonna be tough for you.

Courses in HINGLISH or bilingual is a marketting trick - don't fall for it. May it be UPSC or state PCS or any other exam, go for courses in language same as the your choice of langauge of exam. Institutes offering hinglish courses are just increasing their TAM.

If you "sincerely" prepare for UPSC CSE. You will either clear it OR will go on to do something good in life. Before you come and bash UPSC - notice the word sincerely.
