Pascal Jabbour MD, FAANS, FACS, FAHA Jefferson Neurosurgery Thomas Jefferson University Jefferson Health I am surprised that the overall complication in non rct is very close to the rates seen in tra in neurointerventions (doi.org/10.1136/neurin… ). Which is not true in real world. They are grossly undereported as you rightly mentioned.

Insightful analysis from SELECT2 - 75% of EVT patients had ICH, yet PH/sICH was rare. ICH didn't worsen outcomes or alter EVT's effect at 90 days. High hemorrhage rates hint at the need for adjunctive therapies in large core EVT. Amrou Sarraj Michael Chen, MD jnis.bmj.com/content/early/…

Michael Chen, MD with an in depth assessment of SELECT 2 hemorrhagic complications. Hemorrhagic transformation occurred in ~3/4 EVT patients,>90% were HI1/2. Presence of hemorrhage was not associated with worsened EVT outcomes or modified treatment effect jnis.bmj.com/content/early/…
