That’s what I don’t get. Ban parking on major streets. Cycle tracks are travel lanes, while street-side parking is just cheap, highly subsidized storage.

If HST had been waived Habitat Waterloo Region would have had $1M more for affordable homes on Kehl Street. It’s an exemption already in place for for-profit rentals. Elizabeth May and I are glad to support extending it for builders like Habitat for Humanity. We could do it by taxing REITs.
