Last week, nearly 40 local volunteers from 10 #datacenter companies joined DCC in celebrating World Environmental Health Day with Keep Prince William Beautiful in Prince William County, Virginia. DCC volunteers collected 17 bags of litter totaling 320 lbs and planted 50 trees.

America Recycles Day 2024 is on November 15th, 2024. Volunteer opportunities are available November 13th at Chinn Park Library & November 15th at Central Library. Each of these volunteer shifts will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and you can reach [email protected] to sign up.

Existing litter in a community has been proven to be correlated with future occurrences of littering, and has many adverse effects on community health and safety. By maintaining Adopt-A-Spots and conducting personal cleanups, these volunteers are making a huge positive impact!

You rock, Dumfries! At the past Town of Dumfries Fall Cleanup, volunteers removed litter from around Ginn Park, Garrison Park, and the surrounding areas. Thank you for your hard work and time, volunteers!
