A few hours before our game yesterday, I rode through the community that sits behind our stadium to give away my game tickets. (I’m an Investing In Champions member, but had no guests.) I stumbled upon a church and they invited me to service today. Look at what was inside! #FAMU

Last week, we had our annual Math & Science Night and Thanksgiving Dinner. Our parents and families had the opportunity to see what they scholars have been learning in their math, science, and tech spaces, and we’re able to participate in a few of the lessons. #HUMS

On Monday, January 15, we will host our annual MLK Day of Service. This year, we are donating items to a women's shelter to contribute to the needs of women in our city. We are encouraging each grade level to contribute items to our MLK Day of Service on Monday, January 15.

🎉Last night, during this time of #WomenHistoryMonth, I had the honor of presenting a DC State Board of Ed resolution to honor the incredible legacy of the late Dr. Ramona Edelin, an education giant, mentor, and "good trouble” activist. Her spirit lives on in the work we carry forward ✊🏾
