I’m embarrassed that Ford and Lecce are being allowed to discuss cancelling April Break in the context of rising case counts. The media just nods along with the unchallenged conceit that attending school is somehow safer than staying at home. We don’t believe this, right?

Ontario is reporting a record 1,266 schools with an active case of covid (26.2%). There is a record 736 new school related cases (582 students + 152 staff + 2 unknown). There is a record 2,515 active cases in Ontario schools.
