Team did great today in Belmont. Down 2 weight classes, we placed 6th overall out of 24 teams. Angelucci 🥉, Khalil , Wendling, and McCreedy placed 5th. Tomorrow we go back to Belmont for the Girls Tournament!

Had a good day overall at the Brendan Grant Girls Tournament today. We placed 14th out of 37 teams. Miner walks away with a 3rd place medal. Lots of lessons learned and growth shown. Celebrated with some Cane’s.

Tough battle with Taunton on their Senior night. Warriors came up short. On to Saturday for a Quad at home.

Last night was awesome great time with our Youth team. Everyone got a sweat going, learned technique, had some fun with games on the mat and then had a pizza party. Thank you to the Miners for helping out with the event. Love this tradition.

North Andover Duals have been cancelled for today

Happy Valentines Day! King Philip is at Division 2 Central Sectional Tournament today. Currently in 8th heading into the medal round. 3 in the finals and 2 in the Consi Finals.

The team placed 8th overall. Sending 5 to Division 2 States. Khalil 4th, McCreedy 3rd, Angelucci and Santagate 2nd, Wendling 1st. Wendling was voted Outstanding Wrestler of the tournament! Girls will be joining us at D2 States. 9 total Warriors will be competing next week.

North Attleboro Futures Tournament is getting ready to start. Excited to see the future of KP Wrestling compete today.

Congrats to Junior Captain Nick Wendling. He won the 138 lb weight class and the Tournament OW award at D2 Central Section last week. At D2 States he received his Championship Bracket and his tournament OW award.

Team wrestled the first day of D2 States. Sitting at 12th. We have 3 wrestlers moving on tomorrow. Khalil and Wendling wrestled well but went 1-2 . Santagate, McCreedy and Angelucci will wrestle for a trip to All States. The girls will be joining us tomorow!

The season has come to a close for KP Wrestling. Every one of the kids in the team did great. This team is young and continues to improve. Lacey finished day 2 of All States placing 6th overall. She wrestled some of her best matches today. So much to build off of for next season!
