Set to start construction in early 2022, the new east stand at the King Power Stadium will be the center piece of a full renovation of the surrounding area. The renovation will bring tourists and more supporters to the area outside of match days increasing annual revenue.

As it stands, we're on the brink of the next phase of this football club. Cementing itself as more than a football club but a much wider sports and entertainment venue. Paperwork to be completed in the coming weeks before the construction on the east stand commences.

12 months later than anticipated were so close now to the groundbreaking of the new East Stand.

Stadium won't happen if we go down. At least not yet. Construction wouldn't start until this summer when we know our status

I've seen multiple people asking, "When will construction start?" and "When will it open?" The short answer is, I don't know. Far too many things have gone against us during this project to have any idea. Of course, I will be looking for any information regarding the timeline

I will make sure to share semi regular updates on the construction once ground has broken. Hopefully weekly trips to the stadium to see what's going on.
