Mirasola drops a tough one to Kurugliyev 7-5. Kurugliyev will likely wrestle Jafarli in the semis and will need to win that to pull Mirasola into repechage. Jafarli defeated Mirasola last year at U20s in the bronze medal match.

Anthony Knox and Connor Mirasola are both still alive for a repechage. Knox needs Aitanov to beat Ozdamirov (RUS). Aitanov has looked great but Ozdamirov is tricky. Mirasola needs Kurugliyev to beat Jafarali (AZE). Jafarli beat Mirasola last year for U20 world bronze.
