(10.02) In celebration of the Republic of Korea’s National day, a reception was hosted by the Ambassador H.E. Miyon LEE to highlight the significance of the day and to celebrate the enduring friendship and the strong diplomatic relations between Korea and Sri Lanka.

To celebrate the Hangeul Day on October 9, the Korean Embassy in Sri Lanka presents the Hangeul Calligraphy Contest! You can participate by writing and/or decorating your favorite Korean words or phrases in any way you like! Winners will be contacted individually.

(12.7) The Korean Embassy in Sri Lanka hosted its second consecutive "Korea Corner" at the Bazaar and Cultural Extravaganza 2024, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

(12.6) Ambassador H.E. Miyon Lee participated in the ceremony for facility renewal and handover of trading equipments for Technical and Vocational Education and Training Centre (TVET) with the aim of strengthening Labour market demand driven TVET in Sri Lanka.

(2.18) Ambassador Miyon LEE attended the forming ceremony of Sri Lanka- Korea Parliamentary Friendship Association for the 10th Parliament. On this occasion, Minister of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development, Sunil Handunnetti, was elected as the President of the association.
