🧵Last week’s accidental bombing of a South Korean village shows why the U.S. must end the Korean War.

On Thursday, two South Korean fighter jets dropped eight 500-pound MK-82 bombs on the South Korean village of Pocheon during a joint live-fire exercise with the U.S. military.

Fifteen civilians and 14 soldiers were injured, and nine people were hospitalized, including two who were seriously hurt. According to an air force official, one of the fighter jet pilots had “entered wrong coordinates for a bombing site.”

Park Seong-sook, a 70-year-old eyewitness to the bombing, said she thought "a war has broken out." "It was such a loud sound," she said, adding that it left her trembling with fear.

Despite this incident, the U.S. and South Korea proceeded to hold their annual Freedom Shield joint war drills, which will run through March 20. nknews.org/2025/03/us-rok…

Pyongyang condemned the drills, calling them a "dangerous provocative act" that risked accidentally sparking a confrontation, and then fired multiple ballistic missiles toward the Yellow Sea.
