You may have seen our posters up around the school this week! A reminder that it is Ride2School Day this Friday. Ride or walk to school to be healthy, care for our environment and be in the running to win prizes!

The leadership team ran Clean Up Australia Day today. An amazing effort across the school. Lots of thinking about how we can reduce waste, including ideas to have compost bins on the playground, recycle soft and hard plastics and have plastic free lunches ♻️💚

The compost crew is coming through! 😂♻️

We read the book “Our Home, Our Heartbeat” by Senator Briggs (Biblically Accurate), spending a series of lessons researching notable Aboriginal Australians, comparing his song “The Children Came Back” with Archie Roach AM’s original classic “Took the Children Away” and creating these portraits! ✨

We took a trip to the hall today for our PBL hook event! We watched clips from different interviews and documentaries that showcase the diverse voices of Australia. We’re looking forward to finding out our Driving Question! Possums CPS

Today Stage 3 went on an incursion! Our Race, an anti-racism storytelling social enterprise ran a workshop on ethical storytelling, which will help us share digital stories about the diverse experiences and perspectives of people in our community for our PBL. Possums CPS Our Race
