JUST IN: Namibian entities, Knowledge Katti's Custos Energy and state-owned Namcor, together with their Portuguese majority partner Galp Energia, have made another light oil discovery in reservoirs of high quality in the Orange Basin, their third such find since January 10, 2024.

This was announced this evening in Lisbon, Portugal. Custos and Namcor each owns a 10% stake in the highly rated deposit. In a statement, Katti said the successive discoveries were a testimony to the scope and potential of the oil block.
