Why do I teach? For feedback like this - "I have enjoyed this course so much I have decided to switch majors from pre-medicine to statistics/data. I want to thank you very much for inspiring me and helping me find my niche." PS - This was from a totally online course! #humanizeOL

In case anyone forgot, online does not mean inferior -- "I appreciate the effort you put into teaching this course, and even though it's an online course it feels like it's in person because you provide a great amount of interaction with us." #humanizeOL #onlinelearning

Want to really connect with your students & humanize your course? Give students the opportunity to provide open & ongoing feedback about the course & how they are doing. Out of everything I do, this one thing has had the biggest positive impact on my teaching. #humanizeOL

I kept it quiet, but can now share that I was honored to be the technical editor for the new @CanvasLMS for dummies book!! Marcus Painter & eddie small did a great job with their writing (and fixing things 😜) and I appreciate that they trusted me with this amazing project!

Even though it's April 1st, thankfully this wasn't a joke! I've been struggling to get my student loans forgiven and was shocked to get this paperwork! Lots of laughter and happy tears! #studentloanforgiveness

Can anyone help? I'm trying to find a database of distance education retention (or attrition) rates by higher ed institution (and preferably by year as well). I'm finding enrollment numbers, but that's about it. #highered #DataScience #distancelearning #onlinelearning
