Last night Kokomo Schools School Board voted to pass Board Policy 3600 which protects discussion rights between KTA and KSC. KTA appreciates that KSC values the voices of teachers in Kokomo Schools. See below from KTA President Shane Matlock: #Solidarity

The Senate is now hearing HB 1304. Among other items, this bill would establish a mastery-based education program for schools. While the default is to provide collective bargaining rights for teachers under the program, the bill would allow admins to opt-out of bargaining rights.
