It seems I missed the very start of Adolescence on Netflix but even with that it still was very slow and dragged a bit. But the message was definitely delivered about the effects of social media on this generation.

The tv shows we choose to make will have impact on the world we create. Aspirational family role models are not being shown anymore, we keep showing what people are experiencing instead of showing how people should be living. That’s why the 90’s tv shows are still unrivalled.

I love Loose Women but how come in 2025 there isn’t a safe space for men to have a daily show on any national tv network to express what men are experiencing? Male suicide is at an alarming rate yet not one tv platform has created a space to find out what manhood is like?
