Per campaign:  “President Trump thanks law enforcement and first responders for their quick action during this heinous act. He is fine and is being checked out at a local medical facility. More details will follow.”

CBS’s Scott MacFarlane said this event was secured by the U.S. Secret Service and “everybody in the space had to be screened” by metal detectors and officers. “Just calamitous as a failure” Scott MacFarlane reports.
