Even after 2 years still loving how #Passivhaus delivers, end of October, comfortable 21+C and we have yet to turn on the heating. Working hard on reducing energy use, reckon we are around 35kWh/m2/a now and still some scope to trim. PV panels ready for install in November.

Busy week this week, annual meadow cut done, now onto the bases and frames for our ground mount PV panels, and if we get that done there is still the fence and green house to build!

Since the summer we've fitted sub metering for HP and garage and implemented some additional energy saving measures for our IT kit. We were just over RIBA 2030 target last year, already 500kWh lower this year so hoping to be under the target. House at 20-21C 24/7

While the frozen drive is a bit of a pain the cold morning views are stunning.

Data is in for 2023, total energy consumption of 8573 kWh, down 761 from 2022. EUI is 34kWh per sqm so under the RIBA 2030 target this year. Savings due to less working from home and concerted effort to minimise energy use from IT kit from June onwards. #energyefficiency
