Kathryn Goodenough is a Principal Geologist at the British Geological Survey and Deputy Director, International. Her work focuses on research and international partnerships around the critical minerals required for the energy transition.

Tracy Shimmield is the British Geological Survey Director for the Lyell Centre. Since 2006, her research interests have focused on the impacts of mining on the marine environment, and she has worked in Papua New Guinea, Chile, and Norway.

We have work to do....

Our LiFT project is coming to an end and we celebrated with an excellent meeting Natural History Museum this week discussing all aspects of lithium resources. We're developing #Lithium mineral systems models, but still have more questions than answers!
