Completing the @KM4ACK WFD Challenge can be a little tough as all the nodes seem to be in use. It can take auto connect a while to find a free one you can reach. I got it done though. There should be a P2P challenge next time.

A bit of testing today (March 1) with Android and APRSDroid. Send me an APRS message and you will likely get a reply.

🚨 Something New is Coming… 👀 Been working on a little project with my mate Hayden (VK7HH) — and it’s finally ready. It’s small, powerful, and unlocks a whole world of digital ham radio fun. 💻📡 Think FT8, Winlink, APRS, Vara, AllStar… all made stupidly easy. 👇

Who's participating in FD this weekend? What will you be experimenting with? I plan on giving APRS over HF with VARA a trial run on Saturday. If successful, you might see my -15 station

You never know if an APRS station is manned or just running as a digipeater or iGate, so it was very cool to get a direct message reply from KM4ACK via 40m VARA APRS!

I am deeply saddened to hear the news Roger Smallwood (K8EKG), President of Operations at R&L Electronics, became a silent key this past Saturday. Roger was a great guy and will truly be missed. I send my condolences to Roger’s family and everyone at R&L Electronics. #hamradio
