Today, we received a very thoughtful note from a parent. They were incredibly appreciative of our Community Response Unit whose persistent outreach efforts helped their daughter escape an abusive relationship and enter an addiction treatment program. #MakingADifference

My ice cream "Creations" weren't going to win any photo contests, but I bet they were delicious! Thank you to everyone who supported #MiracleTreatDay and to the staff Dairy Queen Lindsay for your patience with the new crew!

Today we remember the tragic events of September 11, 2001. We honour the lives that were lost and recognize those who ran towards the danger answering the call without hesitation.

22 years ago today, first responders in New York woke up and went to work, unaware of what would happen later that morning. On the anniversary of 9/11, we remember the brave women and men who died in service of their community. May their memories forever be a blessing.
