I watched him make a couple hundred of these earlier in the day when I was on the treadmill in the arena. Wasn’t surprised at all. Big time hustle plays made by our guys to get us in this position.

The Warriors move to 5-0 on the season with the 76-69 win over Calumet. Parker led the way with 18 while Walters recorded a 12 point, 12 assist double-double. Cukaj (14) and White (12) were the other double-digit scorers. RU starts WHAC play next on Saturday at Concordia at 3pm.

People love the game winning shot. Gets all the attention. But not possible w/out this gutsy, all heart/effort defensive play. Diving on floor/causing chaos so we can come up with even a chance to win the game. This is game winning play. But not all realize it. @RUWarriorsMBB

Amen. I mean, it is a team sport. Which ought to indicate that the team is the main thing. Seems obvious, yet many struggle with it. Our best teams over the years: guys on the end of the bench embraced this idea. And in turn were a huge part of the success.

The Warriors begin conference play with a road win and remain undefeated on the year. Walters led the way with 20 points while Parker (17), Fisher (16), and White (11) also scored in double digits. The Warriors return home Tuesday at 7:30pm to face Aquinas.

RU moves to 7-0 on the season with the win over Aquinas. Cukaj led the way with 18 points while Walters recorded a 17-point, 10-assist double-double. White (15) and Fisher (11) also finished in double-digits. RU returns for an exhibition at Grand Valley on Monday, Nov. 27 at 7pm

So thankful and grateful that I get to do what I’m doing.

I think I saved Coach Heath from a “T!” An incredible moment. I remember Coach Christian & I whispering , as the buzzer sounded, that we were gonna win the “whole thing.” Came up just a little short in Final 4. Thanks @Eric_Haut_NKU ! Stan Heath Trevor Huffman
