A strong cold front will blast through the St. Louis Metro area late Thurs. aft/eve bringing rapidly falling temperatures. Rain will change to freezing rain and ultimately sleet between 5-8 pm. Evening rush hour will be impacted - travel may become hazardous on untreated roads.
