U.S. Senate voted overwhelmingly (99-1) to remove a moratorium from the #bigbeautifullbill to ban states from enacting or enforcing laws specifically regulating AI for a decade. But Sam Altman says a “patchwork” of state AI laws will slow down AI. He has a point (see privacy laws)
