Museum day. Even saw some art. Time to sleep before a plane ride tomorrow.

Zurich .. the girls say "Hi", we navigate the mysteries of border control and be out into town soon - first priorty, I'm told is lunch :-)

Sunday at the Zoo, kids running around - i suspect its just about lunchtime, so need to find some food. Not to mention coffee!

Breakfast with a lake view. Still early so relatively quiet. I have a busy day of museum hopping planned.

Lunch in Zurich,then a quiet afternoon,before setting out for Bern. Heather is looking forward to having another Zoo to explore

Mostly a park day. Afternoon at the Zoo. 3 bird kids had a nap after. Holidays are so exhausting.

Made it to Geneva. Kim had a nap on the train. Last stop in Switzerland. Still having fun looking at old buildings.

Lots of fun being had in Geneva, and surrounds, I think we have visited every park/ "castle" now ... another days rest and exploration before crossing over to France.

Different city, same river it seems; Heather's french has improved since we arrived, though she feels lucky to have big sisters to look after her; Yes, we have been to the Lyon Zoo; Girls looking forward to the beach on the weekend

Lunch beside the Mediterranean ... girls excited to be in Marseille, and beside the sea. We seem to have enough museums to visit ...

Settling into Montpellier; It took Heather 5 min or so to find the zoo; Alex found a beach ... Kim found food and went to have a nap. Life is so normal!

Good night, Toulouse, the girls were happy to meet you :-) Good grief summer has passed by so fast

Heather has a birthday party to go to in Indreabhán on the 10th, so is fretting a bit in case we don't get there. The girls arent fussed on Toulouse (SNS) so we will go to Bordeaux tomorrow.

I guess if you have more than one beach to chose from, the solution is to visit all of them (lol) .. Heather also has 4 zoos to visit! yes,Kim still finds time to nap ...

Settled into the Paris House. I surprised Kim by having a nap yesterday ... Alex was helping Daddy do laundry. I think I need a holiday to recover from my holiday!

Despite having to navigate service disruptions, have managed to get as far as Fitzrovia ... The girls gave the service a good review, and the tunnel as well. Good night folks.

Arrived in Inreabhán much to Heather's relief. Currently tired and having coffee in the garden.

The girls want to sleep over in the graveyard tonight - what could possibly go wrong!

Having fun in the middle of somewhere - a blur of loughs, beaches, Inishmore .. now resting at Kilkieran. Back home next weekend so the girls can prepare for school. where does time go?
