This week’s SEL focus led us to the incredible life of Jane Goodall. Her story taught us to listen closely, observe quietly, and never give up on our dreams. To wrap up, we made Cheerio bird feeders—becoming “watchers” ourselves, ready to notice & appreciate the world around us.

March/April STEM Family Projects: Make something you can wear.

Our 2nd graders have been exploring Earth’s atmosphere in science class! They built wind-powered cars, tested them, made improvements, and retested. A fun, hands-on way to learn through discovery!

This morning, our 2nd graders lined the halls, cheering with pride and joy as their classmates paraded by for the Special Olympics! Their smiles said it all: “Let me win. But if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt.” #SpecialOlympics #InclusionMatters #ProudToBeYourFan

Our 2nd graders got their hands dirty (in the best way!) using worm tea from our fall-started vermicomposter to plant Mother’s Day flowers! The worms loved our scraps so much—they multiplied! From squirmy science to blooming surprises, it’s compost magic in action! #LearnByDoing
