Year 2 have been learning all about the Great Fire of Gateshead and Newcastle in their history topic. We were visited by Mr Jackson who spoke to us about fire safety and we looked at (and tried on!) the specialist equipment that modern firefighters use 🔥 👨‍🚒👩‍🚒

Year 2 were very excited to invite ‘Shelby’ 🐌- a pet African land snail- into their Science lesson this afternoon to help us to learn about different habitats and what different living things need for survival.
