As well as Brysons bread, the Kirkoswald village shop is starting to stock a range of Brysons cakes.

There has been a village shop in Kirkoswald for as long as locals can remember. From seven stores at the beginning of the 1900’s, the current shop is now the only remaining store, serving locals and visitors.

When you retire you find your life is full of things to do (how did I find time to work?), but there are still gaps to fill. Why not spend a few hours as a volunteer working in the village shop, meeting new people and playing an important part in village life?

Fresh in today, a bundle of mouth watering deliciousness from Bryson's Bakery of Keswick featuring carrot, coffee and walnut, ginger, date and walnut and chocolate cakes. Plus their delicious bread, of course.
