On the remake Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe, this song got an official name in English ('Welcome Your New Overlord') and in other languages. In all but the Spanish versions, the name of the song is also a direct quote of his dialogue in said cutscene.

Kirby and the Rainbow Curse directly uses some songs from the Kirby anime. Internally, all of their names start with 'BGM_STR_ANI', but interestingly, some songs never used in the anime do as well. It's unclear why that is the case, if they are unused songs, remixes or unrelated.

'Scope Shot' from Kirby's Return to Dream Land can be heard in both 'Booming Blasters - Title' and 'Booming Blasters' from Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe. This is one of the many references that indicate that Booming Blasters directly replaced Scope Shot in the remake.

'The Wondaria Dream Parade' from Kirby and the Forgotten Land appears to take inspiration from the Main Street Electrical Parade of Disney Parks. In particular, its song is very similar to 'Baroque Hoedown', which is the theme song for said parade.

At the start of the development of Kirby's Dream Land 2, the Animal Friends were called 'minions'/'servants' (しもべ, シモベ, 'simobe'). Evidence of that can be found in the internal names of themes related to them in games such as Kirby's Dream Land 3, Kirby 64 and Triple Deluxe

To add to this, Hirokazu Ando wrote 'Sky Tower' as stage music for Kirby for Nintendo GameCube, for a setting that would have been normal and bright at first but devastated and dark later on. It and 'Road to Victory' became the root of the game's music wikirby.com/wiki/Sky_Tower…

The Kirby Quest sub-game from Kirby Mass Attack has multiple references to the HAL game Arcana. When it comes to music, the Japanese name of two tracks directly reference a weapon name and a chapter name, which was sadly not reflected in English. See the references in the images:
