Press Release: The City of Kinston has experienced an untreated wastewater discharge related to a power outage along Forrest Street on February 16, 2025.

Due to the expected inclement weather conditions, our Env. Services team will attempt to collect the 3rd Wed's recycling, as well as Thursdays route for garbage on Wed, 2/19, weather permitting. Please have both carts at the curb for collection no later than 7am on Wednesday.
