I stopped calling and checking in, and it showed me something real: if you don’t reach out, you won’t hear from some people at all. That’s exactly why I stopped going out of my way.

I miss my dad

If y’all really understood what trauma does to the brain maybe y’all would be more mindful of how your actions impact others.

After what I just witnessed, I’ll be distancing myself. I don’t engage with anything that feels off or questionable.

It is so important to be confident, confidence is an intangible asset that goes a long way in life. Even if you have no direction, being confident will get you in doors you didn’t even know were attainable.
