i barely touched perps this year, mainly prioritizing spot buys and farming/arbing stuff
But long $hype / short $xrp is a pair that makes sense in any time frame. Gonna wait for a squeeze on $xrp to add more (if we ever get another one)
Hyperliquid.
If you focus on something long enough, you slowly start recognizing similar patterns over time, and it becomes much easier to predict certain outcomes.
Different ppl, different entities — but inevitably, the same result.
This time is different, just like all the other times
I watched few interviews of Tom Lee today
I think the guy is a genius and a visionary
You can tell simply by his look that the guy knows
eth to 100k is programmed
more than 6 yrs trading magic internet money and i often find myself coming back to the basics
- dont over trade
- be early
- never become community member
Apes fighting over $hype unlocks while we have more than 5bln monthly emissions across all alts (most of them completely worthless)
Very interesting behavior…
You dont need perps nor leverage to "make it" in this space. In fact, almost all whales i know, made it by simply being early, at the right time, in the right place
But CT will try to convince you otherwise with uPnL screenshots
wild to see the perf. of $sol $eth and $btc in 2025
sometimes, all you need, is a degenerate bidding your bags to drastically improve fundamentals
Who is gonna be the Tom Lee or Saylor for $sol ?
i started my journey in crypto with around 2k back in 2018-19 (which i made with a 29$ sub to shopify doing dropshipping)
i still remember the first time i reached 10k thinking to myself "i made it, i should sell everything and enjoy the gains"
I m glad i never did...
I think $hype is fairly expensive at current FDV and probably majority of crypto natives are already long
But...is there a better alts to long right now ?
I struggle to find anything even remotely as good as HL tbh (and it has been the case for a while)
In my own experience, trying to perfectly time tops or bottoms is one of the fastest way to lose money or miss on potential gains and, often, results in either Fomo back or cope
Contrary to what CT might suggest, you should focus on higher time frames (instead of the 1m chart),
