Fighting the good fight against a sinus infection, but at least I can still make progress on my horrifying self portrait.

Seems like illustrators starting out are very hung up on style, thinking if I get the right look then stuff will happen. But for me, that’s secondary. I’ve started to see illustration as “writing with pictures” and therefore the primary question is this: what are you saying?
