💯 this is happening everywhere; ie. endometriosis surgery is more and more concierge and charging what the “market” will pay (read: desperate and debilitated women in severe pain) and it’s bankrupting people. Low billing for Gyn services is causing a crisis in women’s health 🚨

Ok I actually feel very strongly about why people need to understand why we don’t do a lot of menopause care. Our residencies need our labor on OB services for financial reasons. Menopause is office/primary care. Office based menopause care does not reimburse well.
