The pace at which Aptos is shipping is unreal—infra, products, ecosystem. It's getting hard to keep up, and that's a great sign . If you're building or just curious, you're going to want to watch the space closely.

Today it hit me- I'm relying on AI way more than I should. What started as a helpful tool is now basically my teammate, tech lead,(sometimes moral support💀). If it goes down, so do I. Might as well update the title to AI-dependent software engineer.

Why do protocols prefer to have their codebase private? Most Projects I'm interested in, neither have a BB program, nor a public codebase.

do you think the SR to dev ratio is higher in Web3 than in Web2? I feel like in Web3 it’s often around 1:10. Web2 has atleast 1:10000 ? 😅

2/7 -Nearly finished the GMX course on Cyfrin Updraft 🟩 . -Logged 3 hours of audit work. - found an interesting new protocol, preparing to dive in & audit it next. - read up on tornado cash and other mixers. Productive day so far.

3/7 - Spent most of the day deep in audit work - Read a few perp-related reports on Solodit - also started reading up on formal verification in Move, looks promising. Truth is, most auditing sessions don’t feel productive esp when you find nothing, but that’s just how it is! :)

I keep seeing that Rust devs are in high demand in Web3, but what does that actually mean skill-wise? Surely just knowing the language isn’t enough. What else should one know to be truly valuable in the web3 space? Would love thoughts from Rust folks or Web3 builders. 🦀🦀

4/7 - Worked on Noir code, explored diff backend proving systems - Redid parts of the ZK-Noir course on Cyfrin Updraft 🟩 ,reinforcing core concepts -Got in some audit work - Read about low-level internals around Move compilers, VM Bit by bit, it’s clicking, still a long road ahead!

5/7 - Spent most of the day auditing - Read a few audit reports related to perps - Learned a bit about the Move Prover Time-boxing really helps ,otherwise I’d just tunnel into one thing all day.

6/7 -Wrapping up the current audit - Studied some Groth16 verifier code in @aptos Move, didn’t make much sense though. -Digging into how to approach yield strategy logic in Move Tbh, not much clicked today!

I think as an SR, u need to believe you're better than the devs who built it. Otherwise, how'd you ever find flaws in their work? It sounds counterintuitive, maybe even delusional, but beginners need that mindset more than anyone. That belief is what gives u hope, keeps u digging.

ain’t this wild 🔥 😮 infosec_us_team now i wonder if you’re even a team or a solo beast behind all this 👀 if it’s a team, did you collab on audits or grind individually? either way ,mad respect 🫡!!

Killua (@killuanjiro) 's Twitter Profile Photo

My 2 cents after a long audit contest 🐸 - don’t save the grind for the end. - speedrun the codebase early, slack later if you must. - the more time you get to sit with the system, the deeper your insights. unless you're a pro,last-minute hustle will not get you any results.

The recent spike in crypto hacks is alarming! Almost daily incidents. It's starting to feel like a coordinated effort to derail the bull run 🫣
